The Reloop RP-7000 MK2 Upper Torque Turntable System, a direct-drive and ruggedly constructed device, comes in two pieces and boasts impressive features. Its black metallic finish is scratch-resistant, and its shock-absorbing feet help to minimize vibrations caused by heavy bass sounds in DJ booths. The system features a statically balanced S-shaped tone arm with hydraulic lift and anti-skating, as well as an adjustable height/vertical tracking angle (VTA) tone arm base for improved stability.

The low-resonance tone arm is equipped with a universal connection for pick-up cartridge systems (SME), and the freely moveable aluminum LED target light aids in finding the stylus position in dark surroundings. This target light is also removable and easily exchanged. The RP-7000 MK2 includes an additional start/stop button, allowing for a vertical (battle position) setup, and the top panel buttons enable switching between the three motor speeds (33 1/3, 45 & 78 rpm).

Furthermore, the dedicated buttons for forward and reverse mode provide increased creativity in your mixing, and the high-resolution pitch fader allows for adjusting the platter speed in the classic turntable pitch range of ±8%. However, the RP-7000 MK2 goes beyond this, offering a wider, DJ-friendly ±16% pitch range and an impressive ±50% ultra-pitch, enabling greater flexibility in modulating the playing record's tone.

When the quartz lock is active, the platter speed remains unaffected by the fader position and spins at zero pitch (0%). The system's rigid chassis construction, with its heavier design and additional reinforcements made of metal, rubber, and molding compound, ensures high-vibration damping and isolation.

The RP-7000 MK2 also features a powerful starting torque, adjustable from 2.8 to 4.5 kg/cm, and a fine-tuned motor control for further optimization of wow and flutter and rotation. The satin aluminum material used for the tone arm contributes to the overall quality and durability of the system.
