Reloop's BeatPad 2 offers cross-platform compatibility, giving you the flexibility to get work done on various devices, including iOS and Android devices, as well as Mac and Windows computers. This controller was designed with seamless integration with DJAY 2 software, and it also plays nice with Traktor and Virtual DJ.

The BeatPad 2 is a 2-deck DJ controller equipped with a total of 16 RGB-backlit, touch-sensitive drum pads, offering four available modes to suit your performing needs: Hot Cue, Auto Loop, TouchFX, and Slicer. In Hot Cue mode, you can trigger 8 cue points and 6 samples per deck, while the Auto Loop mode allows you to activate an automated loop in 8 different lengths. The TouchFX mode gives you access to the effects section of DJAY 2, and the Slicer mode divides the track into short segments that can be activated for on-the-fly remixing.

Each channel on this controller features a 3-band EQ section with dedicated high- and low-pass filters, allowing you to create unique remixes by boosting or cutting certain frequencies. The key lock tool on the BeatPad 2 will keep a track's tone pitch the same when you need to change the tempo to match another, and the Key Match tool will automatically adjust the key of a track to match another for harmonic mixing.

The BeatPad 2 offers a variety of connections, including balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA master outputs, a switchable phono/line RCA input for connecting a turntable, CD player, or a portable media player, a direct connection for iPads, and a USB output for connecting to a computer. Additionally, there are two headphone jacks on the front of the unit, featuring both 1/8" and 1/4" connections.
